Patchouli will receive one (1) sturdy cardboard box wrapped in muted geometric print.

The box will contain the following:

One (1) data card containing a copy of his father's first book (it's too thick for print)
One (1) box of assorted small tins of different varieties of tea

And one (1) larger tin of Earl Grey Tea.

There will also be a small card inside, bearing the following message:

Miss Patchouli,

I have had the recent luck to be able to recover some very specific data from my homeworld, and thought you may be interested in it.

The card is signed with Takakage's clan seal.

[ Dying is dumb, as Takakage can attest. Especially what they put dead people through... to some, the humiliation is almost as good as dying again.

Nevertheless, he did make it home without much mishap. His visage on the video reply is a bit tired, but still passably cheerful. ]

I had been planning to send it out a few days before, but in light of current happenings it had to be delayed. I am glad it arrived at your place safely.

[ He is slightly curious at how long it would take Patchouli to finish his father's first work. It is... massive, even by his standards. ]

[ Very massive. About a thousand pages or so, and that is being conservative with regards to estimating font sizes...

... though he admits that he had been a little negligent in familiarizing himself with Patchouli's technological literacy. ]

Ah, it is a data storage chip. There should be a port somewhere on your CereVice that permits it to be inserted within, the device will then interface with the chip and allow you to access files that are stored on it.

[ Or alternatively: ] If you own a computer, it should be readable by that too.

[ Well, most impressive. It seems he has finally found someone who reads faster than he does. ]

The chapters are all organized in sub-folders, so you can read whichever way you'd like.

[ As for what the book really is about... it covers part of Japan's history, supplemented by lots of speculation and analysis on his father's part. ]
